History of the Portuguese Language. The course means to supply notions of history of the Portuguese language for a better knowledge of the linguistic learning, in its diatopic and diachronic, European and extra-European cultural aspect, with a special attention to the Portuguese creole languages and to the Brazilian concept of variant.
