Teaching Methods
The course foresee the discussion about the works of art selected for the catalogue, some visit to art collection, practices of attribution, oral presentation of the report.
Further information
The teacher sees the students any Wednesday between 1pm and 7pm, in his room (via Gino Capponi 9).
Type of Assessment
The student must present an oral and a script report on the work of art selected between the early Italian paintings (XVth century) of the Museo Stibbert.
Course program
Frederick Stibbert (1838-1906) collected severals italian panel paintings of the XIVth and XVth century. The course is concentrated on the Quattrocento panels, that include domestic furnitures, wedding chest, devotional paintings, fragments of polytyques and altarpieces, from different country of Italy.
