The Course will deal with a basic knowledge of information technology particularly referring to hardware and software, the usage of particular software such as OpenOffice (Calc) and subjects regarding how to surf and exploit Internet and its interlinked services.

Learning Objectives
The main formative aims of the course are: the basic knowledge and practices on computer for a university student’s demands.
Teaching Methods
The way, in which the subjects will be treated, is based on interactive and frontal lessons followed by a blended teaching method through a special Platform called MOODLE run by the University of Florence.
Type of Assessment
The exam will be based on a written and oral test. The students who can attend the course will be tested during the course.
