Learning Objectives
Critical awareness about philogical work; acquisition of instruments and vocabulary for the evaluation of a critical edition of Italian opera of the nineteenth century.
In the second part, the course deals with problems, sources and texts of italian musical theatre in Nineteenth or Twentieth Century.
Prerequisites
Good knowledge of English (a basic knowledge of German and French is also recommended); good knowledge of musical theory.
