Classes will include reading and commenting on Latin texts in original
language, also in connection with the Greek literary tradition, and
focusing on literary issues and aspect of the history of culture.
Selected interpretive issues and problems of textual criticism will also
be considered, in a philological perspective.

Type of Assessment
The final exam is designed to ensure the acquisition of knowledge and skills by conducting an oral exam on the program carried out in class and texts prepared by the student. The oral test consists of a conversation with the teacher relating to the course and in particular to the student's ability to contextualize and critically analyze the proposed problems. The student must be able to correctly translate Latin texts, proving to be in possession also of philological and linguistics skill.
