Learning Objectives
The course provides students basic knowledge of Akkadian grammar and epigraphy of Old Babylonian period and political situation in Hammurabi Babylon.
The student will learn how the system of cuneiform writing works.

"Hammurabi Law Code". The course includes the study of Old Babylonian language with readings in cuneiform, translation and grammar analysis of paragraphs of the "Law Code" of Hammurabi king of Babylon and some
