The course involves the following Training Units:
1) Educational needs in lifelong and lifewide learning
2) Training needs analysis
3) Methods and tools for training needs analysis;
4) Education design: methodological and operational coordinates;
5) From training needs analysis to educational objectives for social innovation

PPT, lecture notes, research and documents provided during the lessons for deepening topics discussed.

The objectives are defined on the basis of the Dublin descriptors:
1. Knowledge and understanding: To know and to understand the theoretical principles of training needs analysis in the lifelong lifewide learning framework;
2. Applying knowledge and understanding: to be able to apply training need analysis process and to select main analysis tools;
3. Making judgments: to be able to analyse practices of training needs analysis with reference to the implementation contexts and achieving objectives
4. Communication skills: to know and use the appropriate terminology
5. Ability to learn: knowing how to build an independent in-depth study of specific issues addressed during the course.
