The Workshop aims to address, in the form of lectures and above all practical activities, the dimensions of socio-educational profile of professional educator in the multifaceted beingness of her/his roles, functions and intervention areas. It is about understanding the professionale profile of educator in the plurality of her/his facets determined by ever-changing processes, and read in a pedagogical, social and intercultural perspective.

Knowledge and understanding skill (general-to-specific) : the goal of the Workshop is to provide the tools necessary for reaching a knowledge and understanding of the profile of educator in the plurality of her/his professional dimensions.
Knowledge and understanding in practice (from knowledge to skills) : amidst the skills that the Workshop aims to develop, the ability to orient oneself in this specific professional field stands out – it is about a skill allowing to capture and elaborate suggestions offered during the Workshop, being these useful for developing in-depth examination activities (theoretical aspects), as well as for applying the acquired knowledge in practice (operational aspects).

The course will enable students to fully understand the meaning of needs analysis in the different declinations and, above all, in relation to each specific context.
