Course program
This year course will deal with the key concepts of equality and disequality in Society: in particular, regional economy and adaptive Systems in archaeology: Anatolia and the Levant between Chalcolithic and Early Bronze Age.

1. Egalitarian Society in Prehistory and the Golden Age Myth
2. Chiefdoms, centralization and social complexity in late chalcolithic
3. From ruralization to Secon Urban Revolution in northern Mesopotamia in the Early Bronze Age
4. Anatolia in the Early Bronze Age between high Plateau and western coast.
5. Centralisation and staple finance in the Levant
6. Metals, weapons, cemeteries: social and Settlement trnsformations at the end of the 3rd Millennium BC
7. Exchages and circulation of goods between Aegean, western Mediterranean and Levant in the Early Bronze Age
