Considering students as the center of their learning process has changed the way of using educational technologies. The "electronic page turner" CAI model has been replaced by a new perspective allowing individuals to build their own learning path. This will imply m-learning and e-learning, at the base of today’s language learning.

Learning Objectives
The lab has the aim to train methodological and applicative skills in the field of language education.
Discipline-specific skills :
- analysis of the organization of e-learning and m-learning tools oriented to educational and communicative perspectives
- ability to learn languages
The lab will raise awareness on a:
- conscious use of the academic environment, of the CdS, of the assistance facilities provided to exploit the academic features and to manage student careers
- intellectual participation and effective student-teacher collaboration
- conscious use of the learning resources provided by both CdS and Scuola

Lectures; use of electronic resources, tests and exercises (via the Moodle learning platform).

Type of Assessment
Intermediate exercises (via the Moodle learning platform) are mandatory. At the end of the lab, an oral examination will verify knowledge and skills acquired during the lab. The oral examination will consist of questions on each of the topics covered during the lab. This examination will also assess students' ability to apply their knowledge, the relevance and coherence of the students' answers, their communication skills, their capacity for making judgements, their ability to express opinions on a topic in a structured way, their language accuracy and their style.
Students must demonstrate an adequate level of preparation in all the required topics in order to pass the examination.

- the us of internet in the language learning
- education methods and programmed learning
- from language laboratories to multimedia classrooms: types of laboratory, teaching effectiveness
- e-learning and m-learning tools in language teaching methodology
