Giving scholars some tools for reading the complexity of social stigmatization processes. Make them able to catch the separation line between conformity and deviance.
To reflect on etno-cultural and identity differences, that are in the same time risk and opportunity factors.

Course program
The program is split in two parts.
The general part will be about the conceptual framing on conformity and deviance, and the countinuous change in equilibrium between them. The main theory on deviance wiill be analyzed.
The monographic part is about a current topic like the citizenship one, analyzed through the matter of etno-cultural differentiation in mationl societies.
