Mobility Period Certificate
Before returning home and in accordance with the academic calendar of the Host University, you must request the original Mobility Period Certificate from the International Relations Office of the Host University. The document must be completed and signed by the Host University, including the DEPARTURE section, and must not contain any handwritten corrections to dates or personal details.
Transcript of Records
At the end of your Erasmus period, some universities provide the Transcript of Records (TOR, certificate of completed exams) directly to the student. If this is not the case, request that the certificate be sent directly by email to the International Relations Office of your School.
Remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that the Transcript of Records (TOR) is sent to the School of Humanities and Education. Generally, the Transcript is issued about one month after the end of the mobility period. You must also upload the TOR to your SOL profile.
If you are undertaking an Erasmus mobility for thesis research without sitting exams, the Transcript of Records will be replaced by a report written by your Research Supervisor at the Host University. One copy must be submitted to the International Relations Office, and another copy to your thesis supervisor in Florence. Alternatively, you may use the pre-prepared form.
Within 15 days from the end date of your mobility period, you must send only the Mobility Period Certificate to the Student Mobility Office (email: outgoing.erasmus(AT)unifi.it), for the purpose of receiving the final instalment of your grant (together with uploading the TOR on SOL).
If you fail to submit the required documentation within the set deadline, the University will request the reimbursement of the mobility grant already paid out, including any additional contributions received.
You will also be required to complete, through the online procedure:
The Transcript of Records is usually sent directly by the Host University to the School’s International Relations Office, and we will notify you once we receive it.
If, however, you have already received the Transcript of Records before returning to Italy, please forward the document to our office at erasmus(AT)st-umaform.unifi.it.
To begin the credit recognition process, the following documents are required:
All documents must be uploaded through the dedicated Google Form – Erasmus Exam Recognition Request Form.
Please note:
When converting grades, in the case of a grade range, we award the highest possible grade to support and reward students who undertake exams abroad.
Honours (Lode) will be evaluated by the Study Programme Committee.
For thesis research mobility, you must submit the certificate signed by your Research Supervisor at the Host University to the International Relations Office.
Please note that the recognition procedure may take approximately 90 days from the submission of all required documents. We strongly recommend that you carefully consider any deadlines related to your graduation application.
