Application period: 10 February 2025 – 28 February 2025
Ranking lists for the generic host-institution competition 25–26
Students must accept the assigned host institution from 2:00 pm on 22 May until 2:00 pm on 27 May.
The list of eligible students for mobility towards a nominated host institution will be published during the first week of June.
It is possible to carry out a traineeship mobility abroad from 2 to 12 months in an enterprise or other organisation in one of the Programme Countries, following the procedures indicated in the University call. For student mobility, the host organisation may be any public or private organisation located in a Programme Country or a Partner Country and active in the labour market or in the fields of education, training, youth, research, or innovation.
Examples of eligible organisations include:
The host institution may be either one of the institutions with which the applicant’s School has signed a generic letter of intent (host institution with an existing agreement, i.e., generic host institution) or a host institution independently identified by the applicant (nominated host institution), which must be different from those with which the School has a generic agreement. In this second case, the foreign institution must produce a nominated letter of intent (ad personam) for the participant, within the deadlines set by the mobility call.
Recent graduates may also undertake a traineeship mobility within the KA131 action, under the following conditions:
The programme is considered a training internship and may be recognised as curricular internship, according to the regulations and study plans of each degree programme and following the procedures set by the relevant academic structures.
Since 1 July 2022, a single accident insurance policy has been in place, contracted by the University with Zurich Insurance plc, which covers both degree-programme students and recent graduates undertaking Erasmus traineeships, at no cost to them. This also applies to third-party liability insurance contracted with Generali Italia SpA (excluding damages arising from care-related activities).
Any additional insurance coverage for illness or accidents occurring outside institutional activities remains the responsibility of the trainee.
Students travelling to an EU country are covered for healthcare through the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), which they must carry with them.
You may independently propose a company or organisation in which to carry out your traineeship, provided it aligns with your professional expectations and your degree programme. To do so, you must submit a Nominated Letter of Intent together with your application, using the specific form available in the forms section. This must be attached in its original version to your application for the Erasmus+ Traineeship Call.
At the time of application, it is sufficient to upload a copy of the Letter of Intent; however, the original must reach the International Relations Office of the School before the date on which the Evaluation Committee meets.
