Nominated Letter of Intent
We recommend contacting organisations well in advance, either by phone or email. In particular, it is advisable to clarify the content, requirements, and any calendar and/or scheduling constraints that must be included in the Learning Agreement for Traineeship. It is the responsibility of each student to research the organisation and its activities, the profiles requested, and any requirements imposed (language, duration, etc.).
The organisation expresses its willingness to host students through an individual letter of intent, based on a selection process managed directly by the organisation itself.
Finally, remember to inform the organisation to which you are applying that you intend to carry out your internship within the Erasmus Traineeship Programme framework.
Curriculum Vitae
Preparing your curriculum vitae and your accompanying cover letter/email is crucial for the success of your search for a host organisation.
The model recognised throughout Europe is the Europass Curriculum Vitae, which clearly presents all study and work experiences, as well as skills acquired along your path (linguistic, IT, technical-professional, social, organisational, artistic, etc.).
It is possible to download the Europass CV templates in Italian and English fromhttp://europass.cedefop.europa.eu/en/home.
The CV and the cover letter must be written in the language of the country where you intend to carry out the traineeship.
Searching for a Host Organisation
Online, you can also contact student associations such as AIESEC and ESN, which may provide useful contacts through their informal networks.
A dedicated tool is the platform erasmusintern.org, promoted by Erasmus Student Network.
By accessing the “sign up” section and selecting the option “I’m looking for an internship”, you may create your own profile and search for the company/organisation that best matches your academic career goals and future professional aspirations.
