How to Participate
The call for applications for the Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme is published annually in the international mobility section of the University website — usually between February and March — and departures refer to the academic year following the publication of the call.
You may apply for the selection process of the Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme if you are a student at the University of Florence, of any nationality, with good knowledge of the language of the host organisation’s country or another language accepted as a “working language” by the organisation, and if you are regularly enrolled in:
- a Bachelor’s Degree
- a Master’s Degree
- a PhD programme with administrative headquarters at the University of Florence
- a Specialisation School
You may also apply if you are a graduating student intending to undertake the traineeship period within 12 months from the date of graduation. Those who wish to carry out a post-graduation traineeship must submit their application before completing their degree and must begin and complete the traineeship within 12 months of graduation, and in any case, within the time limits established by the call (30 September of the academic year of the selection notice).
Students who have already benefited from an Erasmus grant for study or for a Placement/Traineeship may also participate, provided that, for the study cycle in which they intend to apply, they still have a minimum of 2 months available to be used within the Erasmus+ Traineeship project.
You may also apply if, in the same academic year, you have already benefited or intend to benefit from an Erasmus grant for study, provided that there is no overlap — even partial — between the period of Erasmus study mobility and the Erasmus Traineeship period.
