Learning Objectives
The obejctives of the course are mainly two:
- to introduce the student to the main notions in L1, L2 and bilingual acquisition with particular reference to Finno-Ugric languages;
- to discuss the main morpho-syntactic characteristics of Finnish langauge in comparison with Hungarian (and other Finno-Ugric langauges)

Teaching Methods
frontal lessons; use of the e-learning platform Moodle.

oral presentation; final exam.
Course program
The first part of the course will be devoted to second language acquisition with particular reference to Finno-Ugric languages.The second part of teh course will be devoted to the discussion of some relevant morpho-syntacti properties of Finnish (in comparison with Hungarian). In the last part the observed differences and similarities will be discussed in light of text samples.
