Prerequisites
Students might be endowed with sufficient knolewdge of French language, in order to read the proposed text and the critical bibliography in the original language. Some parts of the course could be held in French.

Further information
The 72-hours course will be articulated, whenever possible, into two modules of 36 hours each. The final test is divided into two parts: a monographical part related to the subject of the course (reference textes and two critical books to one’s choice) and an institutional part related to the general literature of the century which is the object of the course. This part can be prepared on the following handbooks: Lagarde-Michard, “La littérature française, XXe siècle” (general litterature and specific knowledge of the main authors) and G. Macchia, “La letteratura francese (Il Novecento)”.

Oral test in italian or french, at student’s choice.
