Course Content
The course is about the Hispanic American identity starting from the period of Independence (XIX) to the XX century. The full course is of 12 cfu (6 authors) and can be also of 6 cfu in agreement with the Professor.

The Hispanic American identity: debates and proposals
The course is about one of the most important thematic in the cultural building-up of the colonies belonging to the New World, that from the XIX century, after the several Declarations of Independence from Spain and the constitution of new republiques, have dialogued with a new cultural perspective, in harmony with the new domestic identities. Starting from the first authors who have proposed concretely and opened the debate, we will get to authors of XX century, when they realized that debate was not at its end, but enriched with new proposals and conciencies.
The course is of 12 cfu and includes six authots to be studied. For those who have to choose a 6 cfu exam it is possible by agreement with Professor.
