The course is designed to systematize and to deepen knowledge of parts of speech and to provide the basics of syntax in simple and complex sentences. In addition to the theoretical part of the course, ʻlettoratoʼ classes will help to consolidate and develop the acquired grammatical and lexical skills.
Materials of the first part (M. Gasanova Mijat) will be made available at the Brunelleschi Copy Shop (Copisteria Brunelleschi – via del Castellaccio, 49/R). Any additional material will be published on the Moodle platform during the academic year.

Learning Objectives
The course has as its aim the attainment of level B1 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), both in active (speaking and writing) and passive (listening and reading) skills.
Prerequisites
Language skills in Russian, which corresponds to A2 CEFR level.

Please note that the “Scuola” requires compulsory attendance for two-thirds of the lessons (calculated in terms of scheduled lesson attendance, with the option of attending makeup and remedial lessons).
Type of Assessment
The exam consists in an interview, after passing the written test, aimed at testing the knowledge acquired by the students on the content of the course. The written test is divided into several classroom and homework assignments during the academic year.

1. Verb prefixes: meanings, formation of new aspectual pairs, regency, use.
2. Verbs with the postfix -ся: meanings ed use.
3. Short participles. Passive structures.
4. Cardinal, ordianal, fractional and collective numbers: formation, declination, concordances.
5. Indefinite and negative pronouns and adverbs (particles то-/либо-/нибудь/кое-; не-/ни-); meanings and use.
6. Complex sentences: related, explanatory, causal, consecutive, final, conditional, concessive subordinate clauses.
Second parte: S. Fedotova
1. Lexis.
2. Complement of cause.
3. Impersonal sentences.
4. Basics of translation between Russian and Italian.
