Portuguese discovery voyages: the Other and the knowledge of itself. The course aims to reflect on the idea of travel as a geographical journey and as an interior voyage, through a selection of works of the modern and contemporary ages, concerning Portugal, Brazil, Africa and Asia of Portuguese language.
