The language workshop completes the teachings of the German language ‘lettorato' courses and deepens and widens their themes.
The course focuses on films in original language. Prior to the screening of the films, the students have to work in groups with the focusing on writing and oral productions.
KNOWLEDGE: The objectives of the course are to introduce students to the general features of the use of the language in certain periods of history.
SKILLS: The students will be able to recognize the importance of the language to achieve their goals.
ABILITY acquired by the end of the course: The students will be able to use the German language in a correct way. They will know how to express their agreement and disagreement in an appropriate manner.
Prerequisites
Language skills on the level B2.
The students who do not have the level B2 must integrate their language level during the academic year.
Teaching Methods
The lectures follow the conventional university lecture.

The ’Laboratorio di Lingua e Traduzione Tedesca‘ is organized in a close collaboration between the teachers Beatrix Aurigi-Eberhart and Angelika Kruse.
All the students have to attend a minimum of 2/3 of the lessons.
Type of Assessment
Reference is made to the written and oral exams of the ‘lettorato‘ courses.

The course aims to reach a development of linguistic skills, discussed in the ‘lettorato' courses, and an introduction to history topics and the use of the language in certain historical periods. The topics are discussed by using reading and oral exercises before and after the screening of the films in original language.
