The laboratory of theatrical disciplines introduces through exercises the mimic method developed by Orazio Costa Giovangigli, one of the most important theatrical director and pedagogue of the twentieth century. Another common thread of the teaching is the exploration of the 'machine' of the Teatro della Pergola, the management of the Teatro della Toscana Foundation and the active participation of students in the activities of the Florentine Theater.

Learning Objectives
The Laboratory wants to introduce students to one of the most important acting methods of the twentieth century and at the same time involve them in the artistic activities of one of the main national theaters.
Prerequisites
Third year students who have taken at least 12 credits in the history of theater.
Teaching Methods
Exercises, seminars, lectures, viewing of theatrical performances.
Type of Assessment
Each student have to elaborate at the conclusion of the Laboratory a report on the experience.
